WHAT MAKES OUR SPECIAL EDUCATION TOOLS UNIQUE?

Visual Academics is all about the presentation of academics.

Same basic academics, except we focus on “Literal Formats,
Visual Clarity, and Repetition.”

Visual Academics is a unique program formatted to visually decode basic math and reading/language skills, into simplistic and literal formats. It accommodates students with learning differences, including the Autism Spectrum and 1st thru 2nd grade students as well.

Visual intelligence is just another pathway to interpret and comprehend information. It is not any type of new academics. Visual Academics’ focus is the visual presentation of information and basic academics. Clarity, simplicity and spacing are very important.

Everything in Visual Academics lays flat. Nothing is double-sided. Proper spacing is utilized. Visual Academics is literal. It uses color-coding and patterns for comprehension and retention of information. It enables repetitive practice.

The best work space for students is a separated desk/table and chair, with a solid color work surface that is clutter-free.

MATH TEACHING OBJECTIVES

Math Workbooks and Worksheets include the answers.

  • This enables repetitive practice and retention of information.
  • The Quiz Sheets will test the student’s math comprehension.

Visual Academics does not number its questions on Reading Quiz Sheets because the students have a very good visual memory. They can easily remember the question number and the answer associated with it. Without numbers, they will focus on the words.

About Visual Academics

It Started With My Own Son

I am a Visual Artist and an Academic Format Specialist. I am also the creator of Visual Academics. My catalyst was my son Robert, who is on the Autism Spectrum. He was faltering with the traditional format of academics in school, which often requires analytical processing of information.
